Photo – Erk has arrived in SLO. “Hey Shawno, which one of the 10 exits do I take?”

During Erk’s recent American trip, there were some requests for airplay received on behalf of several groups. Due to the nature of the trip, Erk FM was pre-recorded in Australia prior to the trip. Here are some of the songs that were received while Erk was away over a variety of genres. Enjoy! Music courtesy of the artist directly or their management.

Song list:

  1. The only good thing about Mevio rebranding the Podsafe Music Network is that it at least shows the company is still interested in the service. Granted, a lot of the “featured” information on there is terribly outdated (a lot of Brother Love and Uncle Seth, bands that were big to podcasters back in like, 2006). But maybe there’s a chance that the site just won’t vanish in the middle of the night now. I mean, it wouldn’t surprise me if that happened, considering the company’s track record.

  2. The song “Break Me To Pieces” sounded familiar. I’m not sure where I heard that one before, but it was nice to hear again.

Yay, it’s Men Who Listen, and it’s Shill! Both of them got played on my Inside My Head podcast. Great music!

Does the “Homer Navigation System” help you find Mo’s Tavern? If so, then it’s worth it the money to get Homer to talk to you while you drive! I don’t think I’d ever get tired of listening to Homer, either.

And yeah, I was surprised to see that Podsafe Music Network became Mevio. It seemed rather sudden to me. I guess we all will have to wait and see how that all shakes out.
